FanDuel Picks For September 17

More from DFS

Welcome back to the best place to get fantasy sports advice across multiple sports. Today I am going to give you my best picks and choices for your FanDuel lineups that I can. My advice is based purely on mathematical and statistical analysis and I try to avoid using player biases and so forth.

NOTE: these FanDuel picks are based solely on statistics. Some players have never faced their opponents, or have very little experience against them. I am not saying that none of those are good picks. This is based on statistical analysis only. If you have a gut feeling, then by all means, follow that. This is not an exact science.

Here are my FanDuel picks for September 17:

  • 6 players to avoid at your Fantasy Football draftNFL Mocks
  • Jean Segura, Brewers ($2,600): Segura is a player that I recommended yesterday and turned out 1/4. Not really a bad day at that price. With only s six game slate and a good match-up I am going to suggest using him again. Even though he has not extra stats against John Lackey he has gone 8/13 against him and he should be a safe bet for a few hits.

Evan Longoria, Rays ($3,300): Longoria is an excellent hitter and an excellent talent that comes at a good price on a six game day. Just like Segura he has a good match-up against Chris Tillman. Over his career he has gone 16/46 with six home runs, nine RBI and a stolen base.

    Next: FanDuel Outfield Hitter Options

Sep 13, 2015; Baltimore, MD, USA; Baltimore Orioles center fielder Adam Jones (10) RBI single during the seventh inning against the Kansas City Royals at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The Orioles won 8-2. Mandatory Credit: Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

    Outfield Hitter Options:

Michael Brantley, Indians ($4,200): Brantley is also a guy I recommended for the 16th as well. Kind of strange to have two guys that I want to use back to back and have them with good match-ups two days in a row. However, I would not use him if that was not the case. He did go 0/4 on the 16th, but I believe he should bounce back for the 17th. He has gone 6/19 with a home run and two RBI against Yordano Ventura.

Adam Jones, Orioles ($2,800): Jones is an exceptional talent at a very cheap price. I realize he has been a bit down by his standards, but he still has 27 home runs on the season. He also has a great match-up having gone 11/21 against Matt Moore. He also has two home runs, seven RBI and two stolen bases.

    Next: FanDuel Bonus Hitter Options

Sep 11, 2015; Pittsburgh, PA, USA; Milwaukee Brewers right fielder Shane Peterson (35) high-fives first baseman Adam Lind (24) after Lind hit a two run home run against the Pittsburgh Pirates during the first inning at PNC Park. Mandatory Credit: Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

    Bonus Hitter Options:

    Catcher:

Matt Wieters, Orioles ($2,400): Wieters has been in and out of the lineup quite a bit lately and will be a guy you will want to make sure is active first, but if he is, he should be a solid play. He has a great career record against Matt Moore having gone 8/14 with two home runs and three RBI.

Adam Lind, Brewers ($4,000): Lind has been pretty hot and should be a pretty solid play against John Lackey of the Cardinals. He has an exceptional mark against him at 16/37 with seven RBI. I like him across multiple formats as a hitting option.

As always we thank you for stopping by and wish you FanDuelers the best of luck!
