Draft Kings Lineup For Week 2

With the first week of football already past us we move forward to week two. We have a small sample size of information of how some of these NFL teams like to utilize their skilled-players. My Draft Kings lineup is going utilize some of the trends from last week along with playing the match-ups during week two in hopes to build the most optimal lineup.

My Week one lineup was a success. I used it in three 50/50 tournaments and won all three of them. Hopefully, I can generate similar success for week two.

Lets take at the team that I’m rolling out this week.

Quarterback

Ryan Fitzpatrick, New York Jets: $5,500

He’s a cheap option at quarterback, who has a favorable match up against the Colts. The passing volume for Fitzpatrick is going to increase due to this week’s game script. The Colt’s defense is easy to move the ball on and Fitzpatrick is going to have to throw it more to keep up with Andrew Luck and the Colts.

Running Back

Mark Ingram, New Orleans Saints: $5,900

If Bishop Sankey can run on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers then Ingram should have a field day. Ingram should outperform his price tag.

Chris Ivory, New York Jets: $4,700

I’m picking on the Colts defense again. Ivory had a heavy workload last week against the Browns, and I expect him to a lot of touches against this week against a defense that has trouble stopping the run.

Wide Receiver

Julio Jones, Atlanta Falcons: $8,900

Jones racked up nine receptions for 141 yards and two touchdowns against the Eagles. There’s no one on the Giants that can stop him. I’m going to plug him in my lineups until he proves me wrong.

Jordan Matthews, Philadelphia Eagles: $7,100

Matthews is the target hog of the offense, he was targeted 13 times last week against the Falcons. Dallas is going to have trouble covering Matthews. He is highly likely to score a touchdown in this game.

Donte Moncrief, Indianapolis Colts: $4,600

T.Y. Hilton will be out this week due to an injury and Moncrief is the new hot commodity of the offense. He’s a highly athletic receiver. He had a few big games last season, and he scored 16.60 fantasy points last week against the Bills. His price tag is low and his upside is through the roof.

Tight End

Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: $5,100

Kelce was targeted six times against the Texans, and he should have another good week this week against the Broncos. His price tag is worth the risk. Solid tight end production creates an advantage for your line up.

Flex

John Brown, Arizona Cardinals: $5,100

Brown is Carson Palmer’s favorite target. The Bear’s defense is atrocious and he should have another big game this week. This might be one of the last weeks that you will be able to get John Brown this cheap.

Defense

Philadelphia Eagles

Dez Bryant will be out with a foot injury and the Eagles should be able to capitalize on him being out of the lineup. Philadelphia is decent against the run, and I expect them to force some turnovers in this game.

I’m going to use this lineup to play in some 50/50 leagues, where the top 50 percent of the league will receive a pay out. Moncrief is the only risky play in my lineup, because he has a limited sample size of productivity. I feel he has a highly likely to hit this week.
