Adding insult to injury, Jim Nantz basically owned Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles on Thursday night
No one had a worse night on Thursday night than Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles. As the Chiefs were trying to run out the clock against the Denver Broncos to take the game to overtimes, Charles fumbled the ball, which was then scooped up by Bradley Roby who took it in for the game-winning score. In actuality, that had to be one of the worst moments in the career of one of the best running backs in the NFL.
So, with that being the case, you really don’t want to pour salt in the wounds, right? Yeah, well, Jim Nantz doesn’t care about your life rules!
After the crucial fumble that cost the Chiefs the game, Charles was shown on the sidelines visibly angry, and he slammed his helmet. Well, upon slamming his helmet … you know what, just listen to what Nantz had to say.
Well, I mean, he’s not wrong. It was actually a pretty nice jab from the longtime broadcaster and, in some way, you can’t say that Charles didn’t have that coming after what had just happened.
Now, we’re all going to wait for someone to be roasted by Nantz at The Masters, aren’t we?
