Johnny Manziel was asked his opinion of Merril Hoge on Friday and he gave the answer that he thought was appropriate
Friday it was announced that this weekend against the Tennessee Titans, the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns will be none other than Johnny Manziel. With Josh McCown still under the concussion protocol after suffering one last weekend in the opener, Manziel will be the one getting the nod.
Because of this, you know that all of his critics will be out in full force. We also know that one of his biggest critics from day one has been ESPN analyst Merril Hoge. So, on Friday after it was announced that Manziel would be getting the green light to start, he was asked about Hoge and his opinion.
He basically gave the perfect answer.

Come to think of it, those ties that Hoge wears on the air are pretty large. Manziel actually has quite the point here.
In reality, this was a good job by Manziel to take a jab at someone that jabs him all the time, but do it in a playful way. You can call it another sign of his maturity, I suppose.
