Taylor Swift did a pretty good job on Thursday night of pandering to the people in Columbus, shouting out Ohio State
All day on Thursday, we had to endure Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott and his pursuit of a date with Taylor Swift, who has a slate of concerts in Columbus this weekend. He didn’t get the date, yet, but the Ohio State Buckeyes football team did get something from the biggest pop star on the planet.
Thursday night, Swift did the first of her two shows in Columbus and while she was singing her hit “Blank Space,” she managed to work in a few shout outs to the defending national champions.
No, Zeke hasn’t gotten his date that he was so desperately asking for, but a shout out for the entire team is still something to be proud of. Now, this might be something that Swift does every time that she’s in a big college city, so you might not want to read too much into this. But, there is also the possibility that maybe she did see the advances of the Buckeyes running back and this was a little message.
Whatever the case may be, still pretty cool for them to get this from Taylor Swift.
