Lee Corso got it on with his headgear pick for College GameDay in Week 3.
Lee Corso got a little too cute with his headgear pick on last week’s College GameDay. After initially choosing the home Spartans, Corso turned to the quack side and ended up rolling with his buddy The Duck. It was a tightly-fought game, but in the end Sparty wound up victorious and Corso had egg on his face. This week, another one of coach’s favorites was on the table: Big Al.

On one side is the Ole Miss Rebel Black Bears. Hugh Freeze’s squad had looked nothing short of dominant, outscoring opponents 149-24. Chad Kelly has taken over for Good Bo/Bad Bo and has been whipping the ball all around the field. Ole Miss’s defense has been stifling, as well. Last year they came up roses in an upset win over Bama down in Oxford.
On the other sideline lies the Alabama Crimson Tide. Nick Saban doesn’t often lose, but when he does he returns to the scene of the crime with a flamethrower ready to take revenge on all parties involved. The Tide have looked good in the early going, and already have an impressive win under their belt – the opener against Wisconsin.
Who would Corso choose? Well, at the end of the day, the decision was inevitable: Alabama. Coach can’t quit Big Al. Hit the music!
