Ole Miss pulls off play of the year against Alabama (Video)

Ole Miss is trying to upset Alabama and they pulled off one of the plays of the year to try and do so.

When you think about Ole Miss and Alabama, you don’t typically pick the Rebels to be the better team out of the two. But not only is Alabama looking pretty awful against Ole Miss, but the Rebels might have just pulled off the pay of the year in their upset bid to end al upset bids this year.

With a 17-10 lead looking like it might start to crack in the third quarter, Ole Miss turned a broken play into something special. Things started out looking like they might turn the tide towards Alabama, with Chad Kelly fumbling a bad snap and just hurling the ball up into the air. It looked like Bama might have an easy pick, but instead the ball got batted around until it landed in the hands of Rebels receiver Quincy Adeboyejo who had nothing in front of him except grass and the Bama end zone.

Just watch.

That has Iron Bowl written all over it, as we don’t see Alabama get burned often but when they do it’s usually spectacular. This play by Ole Miss was nothing short of that and even if it doesn’t lead to an upset win in Tuscaloosa, it’s still going to be a play of the year candidate at the end of the season.
