After a wild Week 3 in college football, what might the Top 25 college football rankings look like when they’re released on Sunday?
Well, if we all thought that Week 2 in the college football world was wild, Week 3 was one that more than delivered. Of course, with all of the action that we saw, the Top 25 college football rankings will be looking a little different.
The story of the night was certainly the No. 2 team in the country, the Alabama Crimson Tide, going down at home to the Ole Miss Rebels in what could be regarded as the game of the year in college football so far. There’s no doubt this game gave us everything we could have asked for, but now there are some questions. How far will Alabama fall in the college football rankings now? How high will Ole Miss rise?
Then, there was the No. 6 USC Trojans. They were at home as well against Stanford, and much like Alabama, they didn’t have enough to hold off the upset bid. When it was all said and done, Stanford had played the role of spoiler in the Pac-12 and it was as entertaining as ever. So, how will the voters view USC now?
All these questions, and more, will be answered on Sunday. But, for now, via CBS Sports, here’s a look at what the rankings may look like come Sunday afternoon.
