Another week, another deep touchdown pass from Johnny Manziel to Travis Benjamin. On the Browns’ opening series, Manziel uncorked a 60-yard touchdown strike to Benjamin to give Cleveland the early, 7-0 lead over the Tennessee Titans.

Last week, the tandem hooked up for a 54-yard score. According to ESPN Stats and Info, Manziel now has two career pass attempts that were longer than 30 yards – both were to Benjamin, both were touchdowns. The play was the longest completion in Manziel’s career

Early on Sunday, Ian Rapoport reported that Josh McCown’s status as a starter wasn’t in jeopardy, and that he’d be QB1 upon his return from injury.

However, if Manziel can continue generating some synergy with the team’s skill players, Mike Pettine’s decision might be a little more difficult than previously expected.
