Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson busts out a big run.
Fantasy football owners are hoping Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson can return to his former self, and it looked unlikely after the first week.
Peterson is having himself a hell of a day in the second week of the season over, with already over 120 yards from scrimmage on the day and a touchdown that was reversed earlier in the game.
A big chunk of those yards came on this interesting play from quarterback Teddy Bridgewater to Peterson, who busted it out wide to the right for a huge gain.
Vikings fans and fantasy football owners who weren’t ready to give up on Peterson are beaming today after that kind of run. This play was ruled a 49-yard touchdown reception, and at this point Peterson has rushed 16 times for 70 yards.
