The Texas Longhorns lost a heartbreaker to the Cal Golden Bears on Saturday night, so Vince Young had to pay up on a bet
Saturday night everything seemed to be going good for the Texas Longhorns after things were going oh so badly. After being down big to the Cal Golden Bears, the Longhorns fought their way back to nearly tie the game up in the waning moments. Well, you see, the problem they ran into was after a Jerrod Heard touchdown, they kinda missed the extra point that would have tied it up. So, yeah, not the best night.
Well, turns out it was the best night for Texas legend Vince Young either.
Apparently, before the season got started, Young had made a bet with former Cal player Scott Nady on the game. So, with Texas suffering the heartbreaking defeat in this one, he had to pay up. The payment? A customized Vince Young Cal shirt.

Hey, VY is indeed a man of his word here, you have to give him that.
It’s just so heartbreaking that he almost didn’t have to pay up on this.
