Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall left Thursday night’s game against the New York Giants with an apparent lower body injury. Hall was not contacted and came up lame in the third quarter, hopping off the field.

Hall was carted off the field, sitting in the front seat. Often times, an injury of this nature is thought to involve the Achilles tendon, as that part of the body is usually hurt without contact. Last year, Hall was only able to play three games before tearing his Achilles. Hopefully, this is not a case of deja vu.
Can't help but wonder if that's an Achilles for DeAngelo Hall, and if so, if that is the end

However, the Redskins are initially calling this a toe injury.

Hall, 31, is in his 12th season out of Virginia Tech University. Hall has been with the Redskins since 2008 after spending four years with the Atlanta Falcons and one with the Oakland Raiders. Hall has been one of the best cornerbacks of the last decade, long known for his penchant of risking a big play for an interception. Throughout his career, Hall has 43 interceptions and five touchdowns.
The Washington cornerback was finally paired with a talented running mate in Chris Culliver this offseason. Culliver comes over from the San Francisco 49ers, who watched as legions of talented players moved on. Culliver could learn from the ball-hawking ways of Hall, who three times has recorded at least five interceptions in a campaign.
