Ahead of facing Syracuse on Saturday, LSU running back Leonard Fournette took the time to recognize some great Orange running backs

Right now, especially after what happened last weekend, you’ll find very few people that will argue with the fact that Leonard Fournette is the best running back in all of college football. There have been many great running backs to come through college football over the years, and it seems that by the time his career is said and done, Fournette will be mentioned in the same breath as them.

On Friday, Fournette showed that he does indeed recognize some of the greats that came before him in the game of college football.

As he was roaming around the Carrier Dome where the Tigers will take on the Orange Saturday, Fournette paid a pretty awesome tribute to three of the greatest Syracuse running backs ever — Ernie Davis, Floyd Little, and of course, Jim Brown.

This was a nice gesture by a humble young man who happens to be maybe the hottest commodity in college football at the moment. It’s always nice to see a young player such as Leonard Fournette take the time out to recognize those that came before him.
