2. Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos sit at 2-0 heading into a Week Three matchup against the 0-2 Detroit Lions, but the Broncos also have one of the best-kept secrets in the NFL up to this point. Even though they’ve yet to suffer a loss this season, the Broncos haven’t exactly been impressive through their first two games of the 2015 season.

For instance, their Week Two win over the Chiefs was quite honestly a stroke of dumb luck. Had it not been for some questionable decisions by Kansas City head coach Andy Reid and a fumble return for a touchdown within the final minute of play, they may not have won that game. The same fortunate circumstances, though maybe not to that extreme, can be said about their Week One win over Baltimore.

What Kansas City showed in their loss to Denver is that you can definitely run the ball on the Broncos, especially with a talented running back that can make big plays. Despite struggles in his second NFL game, rookie Ameer Abdullah has the talent to do that for the Lions. Moreover, Matthew Stafford has more big play potential in the passing game to add to that.

This could wind up being a shootout in the same light as the Chiefs-Broncos game wound up being. If that’s the case, anything can happen and the Broncos offense has been shaky at times. When it comes down to it, there’s at least a non-laughable chance that Detroit picks up their first win against Denver.
