Ohio State defensive end Adolphus Washington treated college football fans to a big man touchdown

Adolphus Washington is a large human being. The Ohio State Buckeyes defensive end stands at 6’4” and tops the scales somewhere around 290 pounds. That’s not the type of guy you expect to see bouldering into the endzone, but that’s exactly what Washington was able to do for the Buckeyes in the second quarter against the Western Michigan Broncos.

With the Broncos still hanging around against the number one team in the country, Washington came up with a big interception while being double-teamed by two Western Michigan linemen and then proceeded to book it down the sideline and then stumble into the endzone for the score:

Washington isn’t so much fat as he is big, but for the sake of loving fat guy touchdowns, we’ll go ahead and qualify his effort here as such. His was also the second fat guy TD of the mid-afternoon slate of games, which basically means it’s like Christmas from an entertainment perspective.

The Buckeyes have again been looking suspect this week, but Washington’s touchdown gave them a bit larger of a cushion over the Broncos. Perhaps a fat guy pick-six is just what they need to get the fire sparked and get rolling.
