BYU vs Michigan, 31-0: Full highlights, final score and more

Michigan welcomed in the BYU Cougars on Saturday afternoon to the Big House in a game that was supposed to be one of the toughest tests they would face all season. With BYU getting through their first three games at 2-1, some were under the impression that the Cougars could get the statement win on the road across the country.

That was not what happened, though, as Michigan looked impressive in a 31-0 win.

The first half of this one was completely controlled by Michigan and the offense, which looked as if they had progressed mightily since the beginning of the season. In the first 30 minutes of this one, Jake Rudock added two rushing touchdowns to his total, including a 17-yard scamper near the end of the half that would push the score to 28-0. In between those two Rudock runs, wide receiver Amara Darboh would catch a score wide open in the end zone and running back De’Veon Smith would add maybe the best 60-yard rushing touchdown that you’ll see this year.

To add some insult to injury in the first half, Michigan would add a 40-yard field goal to take the quite commanding 31-0 lead after 30 minutes.

The second half of this one was not all as exciting as the first, but the Michigan defense was able to hold the Cougars to zero points, officially pitching the shutout in this one.
