Ben Roethlisberger didn’t suffer any breaks in his leg, which is some early good news regarding his leg injury.
The Pittsburgh Steelers lost star quarterback Ben Roethlisberger to a gruesome leg injury against the St. Louis Rams. A low hit to his left leg bent his knee awkwardly and he exited the game and was carted to the locker room.
While losing your star quarterback is never good, there is some good news early on. Roethlisberger suffered no breaks in his leg, which is pretty impressive.

The bigger risk seems to be a ligament injury, which would be revealed in an MRI.
That MRI will come on Sunday night, the Steelers are not wasting any time to figure out what is the extent of his injury.
Roethlisberger will have MRI tonight.

At the moment it looks like Michael Vick is going to be the Steelers quarterback for at least next week, watch for them to make moves toi add depth.
