The Bengals were looking to close out the Ravens easily on Sunday, but C.J. Mosley was having none of that
The Cincinnati Bengals were rolling in the first half on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens on the road. Taking a 14-0 lead into the half, it looked like they would be in good shape. The second half, though, was a different story. And after what C.J. Mosley just did, the entire script has been flipped.
Cincinnati was trying to close this one out on Sunday with time running down in the fourth quarter. They were approaching six minutes to play in this one, so all the Bengals really had to do was not commit a complete disaster error.
Yeah, well, that didn’t work out at all.
Andy Dalton dropped back to pass and he was blindsided by a rushing Elvis Dumervil. From there, he lost the ball and it was picked up by C.J. Mosley, who took that ball right to the house for the lead.
For a brief time, there was joy in Baltimore after this score. That joy would be short-lived, however.
The Bengals would answer right back with an A.J. Green 80-yard TD reception.
