The highlight match up of the week in college football for Week 5 will be Clemson vs Notre Dame and the opening betting odds are out

We are entering Week 5 of the college football season this weekend, and with this being the case, it’s time to start weeding out some of the undefeated teams as they face one another. In the highlight bout of the weekend, two of these still undefeated teams will go at one another, as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will head into Death Valley to take on the Clemson Tigers.

Just a short time ago on Sunday, the betting odds were released to open. And it what should really be a surprise to no one, the Tigers are the favorite in that hostile environment that is Death Valley.

Clemson is coming into this one at 3-0 on the year, and are coming off a bye week. So, they will be the fresh ones in this contest, which can either be a good or bad thing with this team. We all know how Clemson can get sometimes.

Notre Dame is 4-0 despite being without a lot of their starting players, who have already gone down to injury, including starting quarterback Malik Zaire. Despite the injuries, though, they have been able to keep up on the roll they’ve been on.

But, this will surely be the toughest test they will see this year in Clemson —  and that stadium.
