The Pittsburgh Steelers were able to hold on for the win against the St. Louis Rams despite losing Ben Roethlisberger

The Pittsburgh Steelers headed to Missouri to play the St. Louis Rams. The game was delayed because the Rams set their artificial turf on fire.

Once the game started, the Rams defense was able to slow down the Steelers offense. The Steelers were held to a field goal in the first quarter. Early in the second quarter, running back Le’Veon Bell scored on a one-yard touchdown run. The Steelers went for the two-point conversion but failed to convert.

The biggest injury of the game came in the second half when quarterback Ben Roethlisberger went down. He was hit low and his left leg bent a direction it wasn’t intended to go. Roethlisberger lied motionless on the field before being helped off the field, eventually he was carted off to be evaluated.

Inside the two-minute warning, the Steelers added another field goal to extend their lead.
