The story of Ezekiel Elliott’s lost dog has a happy ending
Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott took to Twitter Monday night with very distressing news: Chase, his family’s dog, a Alaskan Malamute-German Shepard mix, had gone missing and was presumed stolen.
According to WSYX ABC 6, over the weekend Elliott’s father had found a large hole cut in the fence and Chase nowhere in sight. A social media campaign soon commenced to get Chase returned to his rightful owners.

Good news, though! Elliott’s father reported Tuesday that the dog had been found by police:

Yay!
Bad things happening to pets is the absolute worst. Even the most ardent Ohio State haters have to feel good about Chase being home safe and sound. Shall we celebrate with some adorable dog pictures? I think we shall:

According to ABC 6/FOX 28, local police apprehended the dog-napping suspects, but the Elliott’s do not plan on pressing any charges.
