The Buffalo Bills will be without two of their biggest offensive weapons on Sunday against the Giants
This Sunday afternoon the Buffalo Bills will look to move to an impressive 3-1 on the season, but if they’re going to do that, they’re going to have to do it without the services of two of their biggest offensive threats. On Thursday, head coach Rex Ryan announced that both running back LeSean McCoy and wide receiver Sammy Watkins have been ruled out of action.

McCoy will miss time with the hamstring that has been bothering him most of the season thus far, while Watkins will be sitting out with a pretty significant calf injury. Neither of these players practiced on Thursday, originally leading to the speculation that they’d be out for Sunday.
In three games with the Bills this season after coming over in a trade from the Philadelphia Eagles, McCoy has rushed for just 146 yards on 43 attempts with no touchdowns. Not exactly the production they were looking for when they made the deal, but he has been battling this hamstring issue.
Watkins, the second-year receiver out of Clemson, has caught just seven passes this season for 99 yards and one touchdown.
The Bills play the Giants on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET.
