The Oklahoma Sooners have a pretty big match up on Saturday afternoon and they’re bringing out some familiar uniforms
This Saturday as Week Five of the college football season rolls along, the No. 15-ranked Oklahoma Sooners have one of their toughest tests of the season on deck as they welcome in the No. 23-ranked West Virginia Mountaineers. In the Big 12 after five weeks, this is one of the most important games of the year thus far.
Because of this, the Sooners have decided to break out some of their more interesting uniforms for the game in Norman. When this team takes the field against the Mountaineers on Saturday at Noon ET, they’ll be sporting those “Rough Riders” uniforms that so many people were a fan of.

For the most part, people were a fan of these. With a traditional program like Oklahoma, it’s tough to please people when it comes to an alternate uniform. However, these are pretty nice and they take into account the tradition of Oklahoma Football, which is the most important.

The second part of that sentence is exactly correct. Oklahoma prides itself on tradition, and that will be on full display on Saturday when they trot out there with these threads on.
