Lions’ big man rumbles for TD (VIDEO)
The Detroit Lions are offensively rancid, but the defense has been showing serious improvement on Monday Night Football against the Seattle Seahawks.

Trailing 13-3 in the fourth quarter, Detroit forced Seattle into a third down and brought the blitz. James Ighedibo got home and forced Russell Wilson to fumble, which was picked up and run 27 yards but Caraun Reid for a touchdown.
Look, this game has been absolutely brutal to watch. The Lions and Seahawks both have no offense to speak of. While you need to give both defensive units ample credit, there is something to be said for this thing called blocking. Seattle has been getting Wilson pummeled all night against a depleted Lions front, allowing six sacks and multiple other hits. Matthew Stafford has not been sacked, but he’s faced all kinds of pressure up the middle and off the edge.
Only trailing 13-10 midway through the fourth quarter, Stafford and his mates only need one good drive to take the lead or at the very least, tie the game and perhaps force overtime. Detroit is already 0-3 and another loss in Seattle is probably the end of any playoff hopes. The Lions are still looking for their first postseason win since 1991, when the team went to the NFC Championship game and got crushed by the Washington Redskins.
