The next ESPN 30 for 30 that we’ll see, “Trojan War,” will deal with those amazing USC Trojans teams that we saw
The USC Trojans football program literally ruled the early to mid-2000s. Those teams, led by head coach Pete Carroll, are considered one of the greatest dynasties in the history of college football. Unfortunately, though, because of their downfall they’re also considered one of the more corrupt. On October 13, we’ll get to relive it all over again as the ESPN 30 for 30 series returns with, “Trojan War.”
On Monday, we got our first look at the trailer for what should be one of the better documentaries of the entire series.
Just from the looks of that trailer, there is no way that any college football fan would want to miss this one. Whether you loved watching these teams do their work on the field and relive that all over again, or you just hated those years and want to hear about the downfall, you will probably need to watch this on October 13.
Those Trojans teams were led by Carroll, who is now currently the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL and has even collected a Super Bowl ring for himself. Players on those teams such as Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush and Steve Smith were able to capture two national championships, while Leinart and Bush added to Heismans to the trophy case. Although, Bush’s has since been taken away from him, something you’ll learn a lot about in this documentary.
This one truly is a must-see.
