Gary Barnidge-TE-Cleveland Browns (10.0%)

Last week, I had Barnidge on my list as a flier at tight end, and the veteran delivered with his second big week in a row with Josh McCown under center.  In the first two games of the season played mostly by Johnny Manziel, Barnidge had just four catches for 55 yards, but since McCown returned Barnidge has totaled 12 catches for 180 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

This week he found the end zone for the second week in a row catching all six passes thrown his way and finishing with 75 yards. He definitely has a strong connection with McCow and is a trusted red zone option.

While Barnidge is the best widely available option, he does have a few tough matchups the next few weeks as the Browns take on the Ravens, Broncos, and Rams.  I doubt he’ll keep up this pace as team’s adjust to him being more involved, but he isa far better option than the rest of the TE available in more than half of ESPN leagues on the fantasy football waiver wire.
