The National Football League season is blowing by, already entering its second quarter. After four weeks, nothing that was predicted back in August in coming true.

The Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens were supposed to be two Super Bowl contenders, with the Colts listed as overwhelming favorites to reach Santa Clara. Instead, Indianapolis has been nothing but a complete wreck. The Colts are sitting at 2-2 and in first place of the putrid AFC South, but the play has been horrid for the most part.

Meanwhile, the NFC has been all over the map. The Seattle Seahawks are trying to reach the Super Bowl for the third consecutive season, but they are 2-2 and the offensive line is terrible. The Dallas Cowboys were expected to roll through the NFC East with the Philadelphia Eagles nipping at their heels. Instead, Tony Romo and Dez Bryant are hurt, Dallas is 2-2, and the Eagles are atrocious at 1-3.

Here are the Week 5 NFL picks against the spread:

Despite five of the six experts picking the Kansas City Chiefs to beat the Chicago Bears, all six believe Chicago will cover the 10.5-point spread. The same can be said for the Green Bay Packers but in the opposite respect, with Aaron Rodgers and the boys expected to cover their 10.5-point spread by all except Patrick Allen.

The Ravens and Cleveland Browns are both 1-3, but Baltimore is favored by a touchdown. The experts all have the Ravens winning, but not by that large of a margin.
