LeSean McCoy will be out the next 3-4 weeks with a Grade 2 hamstring pull.
According to Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News, running back LeSean McCoy will miss the next three or four games for the Buffalo Bills with a Grade 2 hamstring pull. With backup running back Karlos Williams in concussion protocol, this leaves the Bills in a difficult situation at tailback.
LeSean McCoy says he has a "grade 2" hamstring pull. Out 3-4 weeks. #Bills

McCoy came over to the Bills in a quid pro quo deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. Ironically, both players in the deal got hurt almost immediately out of the gate. Linebacker Kiko Alonso is dealing with the another knee injury, this time for the Philadelphia Eagles. Alonso believes he didn’t tear his ACL for a third time.
McCoy is only two years removed from his second All-Pro selection, rushing for an NFL leading 1,607 yards in 2013. Now he’s on pace to accumulate only 584.4 yards on the ground in 2015. Needless to say, the trade to acquire LeSean McCoy is not panning out as Buffalo had hoped for.

Buffalo Bills Head Coach Rex Ryan will still likely want to pound the rock on offense. Get used to the names Boobie Dixon and Dan “Boom” Herron in the Bills backfield until McCoy comes back and Karlos Williams clears concussion protocol.
Expect the Bills to possibly make a roster move to acquire a more established free agent running back if things go poorly in Nashville on Sunday when the Bills take on the Tennessee Titans in Nashville. The defense may help keep the Bills in contention in McCoy’s absence, but that now means more pressure is now on first-year starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor.
The last quarterback you could put pressure on in Buffalo and get results was Jim Kelly. Hopefully the Bills can tread water without LeSean McCoy on their active roster for the next month of so.
