The biggest injury which actually helps two players land in my top 10 waiver wire pickups for fantasy football week 6 came in the Kansas City Chiefsā heartbreaking loss to the Bears. Jamaal Charles was one of the few true feature backs left, but he turned his knee and is done for the season. Ā In his absence, there are some players you need to grab off the fantasy football waiver wire who suddenly have fantasy value.
Charlesā injury is just one of the many factors that causes playersā value to rise and fall throughout the season, and if youāre a savvy fantasy football owner youāll stay on top of the best pickups in your league each week of the season.
To help you find the top option to target, each Tuesday on Fansided you can find my top 10 fantasy football waiver wire targets. Ā Before we get to this weekās picks a couple of reminders. First, I only highlight players who are available in over 50% of ESPN leagues (ownership percentages as of Monday night included in parentheses). Ā Secondly, each week I highlight at least one quarterback, one running back, one wide receiver, on tight end, and one team defense. Ā To see deep league pickups or āhonorable mentionsā for my top ten, scroll to the final slide of this post.
If your league has someone available who is mostly owned but for some reason was dropped in your league or youāre not sure which move to make, you can always ask me on Twitter @FansidedFantasyĀ where I do my best to answer as many questions as I can. Ā You can also find more coverage, rankings, sleepers, and previews throughout the rest of the week on our Fantasy Football hub.
This week, there are some solid pickups to target on the fantasy football waiver wire starting with a running back owned in less than 1% of ESPN leagues.
