Sunday was another day full of fantasy football fun with plenty of excitement from teams that aren’t thought of as offensive powerhouses.  The Lions, Jets, and Texans all put up nice offensive numbers in the early games yesterday before the Patriots took down the Colts in a memorable Sunday Night Football game. The Colts’ fake punt may not be “butt fumble” level of infamy,  but it had approximately the same chance of succeeding. In case you missed anything, check out my full fantasy football week 6 recap on the following slides.

More from Detroit Lions

As I’ve done each week, I’ve listed some of the biggest studs, some of the biggest duds, and the biggest sleepers at each of the main fantasy football positions–quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and tight end.  “Studs” are players who came into the week with high expectations and came up large for their fantasy owners.  On the other hand, the “duds” are players who were expected to perform this week but failed to deliver for one reason or another.  Finally at each position, the sleepers are some of the players who weren’t expected to make big fantasy contributions but who had solid fantasy football week 6’s and may have some sleeper value for your fantasy team going forward.

The Bengals, Broncos, Packers, and Panthers stayed undefeated while the Lions managed to get their first win.  Denver and Detroit both had to work some overtime to get their wins, but the Dolphins cruised to their win over Washington in Dan Campbell’s first game as head coach. In other action, the Ravens struggled on the West Coast again while the Jets bashed the Redskins in smash-mouth style.

As we head into NFL week 7, make sure to check back tomorrow morning for my full top 10 waiver wire pickups post in which I’ll break down who you should target to give your roster a boost.  In order to stay locked in to all of Fansided’s fantasy football coverage, drop a bookmark over on our fantasy football hub and follow us on Twitter @FansidedFantasy.

There’s plenty of action to recap from a busy fantasy football week 6, so let’s get started with our look at the studs, duds, and sleepers by checking in on the quarterbacks who put up big points.
