Here are the college football results against the spread week 11. Winners against the spread are in BOLD. Here are the picks just in case you would like to follow along!

Kent State at Ohio(-6.5): HIT! Kent’s defense has fallen on hard times lately. The MAC is taking them behind the woodshed.

Toledo(-3.5) at Central Michigan: HIT! The Rockets are still a good team, and are still right in the thick of the MAC race.

Northern Illinois(-6.5) at Buffalo: HIT! Drew who? All kidding aside, Graham seems to be a good *gulp* game manager. Seriously, with a back like Joel Bouagnon, there aren’t many MAC teams that can slow the Huskies down.

Bowling Green(-3.5) at Western Michigan: HIT! MACtion was good to me this week!

Louisiana-Lafayette at South Alabama(-2.5): HIT! This was a good game with 27 of the 57 combined points scored in the fourth quarter.

Virginia Tech at Georgia Tech(-2.5): HIT! As a college football fan, I wish that Frank Beamer was able to leave with a better season under his belt. It’s also sad that it took his stepping down to get the team to step up.

USC(-15.5) at Colorado: HIT! If you had told me that Sefo Liufau would leave the game and the Ralphies still wouldn’t get covered, I would have thought you were crazy.

Pittsburgh at Duke(-2.5): HIT! Quite a fall for the guys from Durham. Don’t worry, the real college season is already underway for Duke fans!

Georgia at Auburn(EVEN): HIT! Auburn’s defense, specifically the run defense, really stepped up here, but the special teams let them down.

North Texas at Tennessee(-41.5): MISS! It sucks to miss the first one of the week on one than I knew better than to take.

Tulane at Army(-2.5): MISS! It was a good game at least.

Florida(-7.5) at South Carolina: MISS! Florida’s offense looked much better in this one.

Texas at West Virginia(-8.5): MISS! Texas has been pathetic on the road. I’m not sure why I thought that would change.

Ohio State(-16.5) at Illinois: HIT! This is a different – and better – team with Barrett at QB. Everyone but Urban Meyer thought that coming into the season anyway….

Kansas at TCU(-44.5): HIT! I didn’t expect it to be that close.

Maryland at Michigan State(-14.5): MISS! Well, the reasoning was sound…..

Purdue at Northwestern(-14.5): MISS! How can Purdue get absolutely blasted by Illinois then hang with Northwestern? Just curious….

Middle Tennessee State(-4.5) at Florida Atlantic: HIT! The Sun Belt is still the hardest conference to read from week to week.

Akron(-6.5) at Miami(OH): HIT! I should have went more on this one. Oh well!

UTEP at Old Dominion(-6.5): MISS! There was a good reason that I only put one point on this one….

North Carolina State at Florida State(-8.5): HIT! If the Seminoles had a reliable QB, they might be sitting at number one instead of Clemson.

Virginia at Louisville(-13.5): HIT! Too bad I didn’t have more confidence in Virginia’s defense….

UTSA(-4.5) at Charlotte: MISS! Well, I picked the winner right, but that isn’t good enough here!

Utah State(-1.5) at Air Force: HIT! Well, the Falcons didn’t win by ten, but they very well could have. They dominated this game everywhere but on the scoreboard.

Massachusetts(-6.5) at Eastern Michigan: HIT! It only took the Minutemen two years to get out of the MAC cellar. That is pretty good for a team that makes the leap to FBS.

Arkansas State(-14.5) at Louisiana-Monroe: HIT! The Red Wolves are staring down another Sun Belt title.

Washington at Arizona State(-2.5): MISS! The Sun Devils defense looked pretty good in this one.

Miami(FL) at North Carolina(-12.5): HIT! Put the Tar Heels on the short list of teams that no one wants to face right now.

Wake Forest at Notre Dame(-27.5): HIT! I said 27-3. It was 28-7. Getting close there!

Clemson(-29.5) at Syracuse: HIT! The Orange continue to be a tough out at home.

Alabama(-7.5) at Mississippi State: MISS! I should probably quit picking against the Tide. They made some adjustments after the Ole Miss loss. They likely won’t lose again. Yes, that is foreshadowing.

Oklahoma State(-13.5) at Iowa State: HIT! The Cyclones are tough in Ames after September.

Florida International at Marshall(-10.5): HIT! I guess halves don’t matter when you roll someone 52-0….

Nebraska(-8.5) at Rutgers: HIT! Easy money.

Kansas State at Texas Tech(-5.5): HIT! More easy money!

Michigan(-13.5) at Indiana: MISS! I should have known better.

Georgia Southern(-6.5) at Troy: HIT! This was way too easy. I was expecting a catch somewhere…

Southern Mississippi(-7.5) at Rice: HIT! Do I get bonus points for how many times they covered the spread? I will take 7.5x my winnings!

SMU at Navy(-20.5): HIT! Poor SMU. Maybe they should move to the Sun Belt. They could have a nice little rivalry with North Texas then….

San Jose State at Nevada(-1.5): MISS! Nevada is nearly impossible to pick right now as well.

Georgia State at Texas State(-2.5): MISS! Maybe it’s time to bring my quarter out of forced retirement. Or I could just pick a different year…

Kentucky at Vanderbilt(-3.5): HIT! It was too close for comfort!

Appalachian State(-18.5) at Idaho: MISS! I have too much faith in the Vandals for winning three games, I guess.

Temple(-2.5) at South Florida: MISS! This has been a nice rebound for the Bulls who were awful last year. Watch them this week on Thursday night. They have some good players coming along there!

UNLV at Colorado State(-7.5): HIT! I almost took UNLV. Good thing I talked myself out of it.

Memphis at Houston(-6.5): HIT! This might have been the best game of the week!

Arkansas at LSU(-7.5): MISS! This was a clinic by the Hogs. LSU might lose out if they can’t figure out how to get some passing yards. No one is scared of them despite two really good receivers in Dural and Dupre.

BYU(-5.5) at Missouri: HIT! This was the first time Missouri has scored more than 13 points since October 3rd.

Tulsa at Cincinnati(-17.5): HIT! If you like offense, you loved this game!

Minnesota at Iowa(-10.5): HIT! Who else thought Minnesota was going to win with the way that game was going in the fourth quarter?

Oklahoma at Baylor(-3.5): HIT! Oklahoma might be ranked number one if it weren’t for that ugly loss to Texas.

Oregon at Stanford(-9.5): MISS! Can you imagine where the Ducks would be if Adams had been healthy all year?

Utah(-5.5) at Arizona: MISS! Who saw this coming? Arizona might have played their best defensive game of the year.

New Mexico at Boise State(-30.5): HIT! Wait……New Mexico won outright? And Rypien threw for 500 yards in the loss? Thomas Sperbeck had 20 catches for 281 yards….and Boise still lost? Yes, this was one of those weird games….

Wyoming at San Diego State(-24.5): HIT! Two more words: Chase Price!

Oregon State at California(-21.5): HIT! Goff keeps lighting it up out west. Too bad the shortsighted voters refuse to give the Heisman to the best player anymore. Goff would be right in the running! Cal wouldn’t be anywhere near a bowl without him.

Washington State at UCLA(-9.5): HIT! Washington State is going to be a rough team to play next year. This team actually has a defense, where none of Mike Leach’s Texas Tech teams did.

Fresno State at Hawaii(-5.5): MISS! Yep, the quarter is making a comeback next week for these one pointers!

From a bad week last week, to a really good one this week. I went 39-19 against the spread, to tie for my best week (wins wise) on record. This puts me at 303-286 on the season. That puts me at 51.4%. 55 is attainable, but I need more weeks like this one!

4. 6-2 (57-53)
