Matt Ryan made a foolish pass in the Falcons’ red zone that ended in a pick-six for the Colts.

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan had a solid start to Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts with three touchdown passes, but he has also thrown two interceptions. His second one may be costly for the Falcons, as he threw a pass straight to Colts inside linebacker D’Qwell Jackson for an interception. This was a foolish decision, as Jackson was not covered by anyone and took it to the end zone for a pick-six. Here is a video of the Colts tying it up after rallying from a 21-7 deficit.

The Colts defense is not known for performing well, but Jackson’s pick-six has put the Colts back in a game that appeared to be over not too long ago. They have also capitalized on an injury to Falcons running back Devonta Freeman, as the Falcons offense has not looked the same since their breakout star left the game. The Colts are looking to keep their season alive after quarterback Andrew Luck suffered a kidney injury that will keep him out for multiple weeks.

Matt Hasselbeck has already proven to be capable of winning games for the Colts, but it remains to be seen if the defense can make a stop and if the offense can put together a scoring drive. Meanwhile, Falcons rookie running back Tevin Coleman will look to showcase his star potential while filling in for Freeman. Freeman emerged after Coleman went down with an injury of his own.
