Fantasy football waiver wire-Week 12 pickups
Hit the waiver wire week 12 and get the help your fantasy football team needs for a playoff push.
This season has been a brutal one for fantasy football injuries and the toll continued to mount on Sunday. Whether your team has been like the Ravens and totally injury depleted or just needs a boost of scoring as you jockey for playoff position, there are some attractive options on the waiver wire week 12 that can help you find success coming down the stretch.

Already this season, there have been some great waiver wire pickups, and I’ve done my best all year to help you find the top pickups each week. Ever Tuesday on Fansided I list my top 10 waiver wire pickups before and during the season.
Before jumping into the top 10 for week 12, let me remind you of a couple guidelines. First, I only highlight players who are available in over 50% of ESPN leagues (ownership percentages as of Monday night included in parentheses). If there are players who are owned in more than 50% of leagues but somehow are still floating on the wire in your league, you can reach out and ask me specific questions on Twitter @FansidedFantasy where I do my best to answer as many questions as I can before waiver deadlines which are usually late tonight. You can also check back for more coverage including some last minute sleepers throughout the rest of the week on our Fantasy Football hub.
Each week in my top ten waiver wire pickups, I include at least one quarterback, one running back, one wide receiver, one tight end, and one team defense in my list. To see deep league pickups or “honorable mentions” for my top ten, scroll to the final slide of this post where you’ll find more options for each of those positions. The waiver wire week 12 is so loaded that I snuck in an extra pick this week sliding 11 picks into my usual top ten (shhhh, don’t tell anyone I’ve over-delivering)
More good news for week 12 and moving forward is that there are no more bye weeks. Every team will be in action this week, but you will need to set your lineup early since Thursday features three Thanksgiving games. The six teams who will have a short week are the Eagles, Lions, Panthers, Cowboys, Bears, and Packers.
Whether you want some fantasy football options to go with your turkey and stuffing or you avoid Thursday games on principle, there is plenty of help to add to your team from the week 12 waiver wire, so let’s get rolling with the first of several running backs who have a great opportunity in front of them.
