Fantasy football week 12 had some bounceback performances, some big divisional wins, and plenty of turkey back on Thanksgiving.  On the following slides, I’ll break down all the best, the worse, and the most surprising from all the fantasy football week 12 action from both Thursday and Sunday.

More from Detroit Lions

On Turkey day, the Lions got their traditional win, but the Cowboys lost not only their game against the Panthers but also Tony Romo for the season.  The Packers took a tough loss at home a Lambeau on Thanksgiving night, and on Sunday the loss was made even worse by the Vikings beating Atlanta on the road.  The other impressive road win in the early games went to the Raiders who knocked off the Titans in a back-and-forth affair.  Washington also got a huge win at home over the Giants as they  moved into a tie atop the woeful NFC East. Other winners from Sunday’s action included the Jets, Chiefs, Texans, and Colts.

In the late games, the top teams in the NFC West won a pair of matchups as the Seahawks beat the Steelers in a thriller and the Cardinals won a close game against the 49ers. In the Sunday Night Football game, the Patriots fell in Denver ending their run at an undefeated season.  They may not have lost as much as it looked like initially, though, since at this point Rob Gronkowski’s knee injury doesn’t appear to be not as serious as initially feared.

Each week here on Fansided,  I put together a fantasy recap of the week breaking down some of the biggest studs, some of the biggest duds, and the biggest sleepers at each of the main fantasy football positions–quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and tight end.

Before we get to the position-by-position breakdown, here are some quick reminders of what you can expect to find in each category. “Studs” are players who came into the week with high expectations and came through for their fantasy owners.  On the other hand, the “duds” are players who were expected to perform this week but failed to deliver due to injury or just overall ineffectiveness.  Finally at each position, I’ve listed “sleepers” who are some of the players who weren’t expected to make big fantasy contributions but who had solid fantasy football week 10’s and may have some sleeper value for your fantasy team moving forward.

As we head into a very busy NFL week 13, make sure to check back tomorrow morning for my top 10 waiver wire pickups.  In order to stay up to date on all of Fansided’s fantasy football coverage, drop a bookmark over on our fantasy football hub and follow us on Twitter @FansidedFantasy where you’ll find coverage of fantasy golf, fantasy basketball, fantasy baseball, and fantasy football.

There was plenty of turkey, gravy, and stuffing in fantasy football week 12, but let’s focus on the studs, duds, and sleepers from a busy week on the gridiron
