The Carolina Panthers have trolled the Atlanta Falcons by taking a team photo during the two minute warning

You know things are bad when the opposition are taking team photos before the end of the game. Sitting at 5-0, the Atlanta Falcons were flying high. Devonta Freeman and Julio Jones were killing teams, and Dan Quinn had resurrected a terrible defense into a tough unit to play against. Well, that all seems like a long time ago now.

The Falcons have slipped to a measly 6-7. Matt Ryan has started throwing to the other team, the defense has become soft and everything looks as though it is falling apart at the seams. This poor run of form has now culminated in a 38-0 pummeling by the Carolina Panthers. The beating was so bad that Carolina even had time to take a team photo during the two minute warning, just in case anyone wasn’t aware of how confident Cam Newton and his Panthers are.

Carolina are now the only undefeated side in the NFL, boasting an impressive 13-0 record, and while many have written them off as one of the worse undefeated teams going, they simply keep pounding week in week out. And pounding is exactly what they did on Sunday. Led by Cam Newton and Ted Ginn Jr on the deep ball, the Panthers jumped out to a 21-0 lead, and simply suffocated the game from that moment forward.

The big lead opened up the time for the photo opportunity, even if it wasn’t the most sportsmanlike time to conduct such business. That said, if Roger Goodell and the NFL want to hand down a fine, at least he won’t have a problem identifying who took part.
