Karl Anthony-Towns slams putback dunk (Video)
Karl Anthony-Towns showed off his dominant interior moves with a monster putback slam over two Denver Nuggets.
The legend of Karl Anthony-Towns continues to grow with each passing game. Early into the season, the No. 1 pick this year’s draft doesn’t even look like a rookie. Flashing dominant moves inside, Anthony-Towns has already established himself as a force in the NBA.
He continues to get better on the inside and defenders have a tough time dealing with him. When the Minnesota Timberwolves hosted the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday, Anthony-Towns put two Nuggets on a poster, when he delivered a nasty putback slam.
Anytime someone can out-muscle Kenneth Faried for a rebound, it’s pretty impressive. To put back a dunk and have the control to follow through over two Nuggets, is downright scary.
Anthony-Towns shouldn’t be doing the things that he is doing at his age and this early into his career. At the trajectory he’s going, moves like this are going to be the norm for him. Seeing a young player chase down rebounds will always make a coach happy, but seeing them finish it off with a big slam is even better.
It’s only December, but Karl Anthony Towns is running away with the MVP award.
