High Value C

Miles Plumlee-Portland Trail Blazers (5,300): Plumlee has been playing well lately averaging 9.4 points and 9.8 rebounds over his last ten games while adding 3.3 assists and 1.1 blocks per game.  He had 13 points, seven boards, four assists, and three blocks against the Nuggets on Wednesday and will look to repeat his 34.75 fantasy point performance tonight in Denver.  There is a little bit of concern since Plumlee missed practice yesterday with an illness, but he is considered probable for tonight.  I’d be very surprised if he doesn’t play at all, but a more likely scenario would be him seeing limited floor time since he’s still recovering.

Meyers Leonard-Portland Trail Blazers (4,100): Leonard has scored in double digits in five straight games and is averaging 14.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists over that timespan.  Leonard has at least 24 fantasy points in four of his last five games, and he could get more time tonight if Plumlee is limited by his illness.  The matchup against the Nuggets front court should be a good one for whichever Blazers’ big gets the minutes. ∗∗

Tyson Chandler-Phoenix Suns (4,100): If you’d rather avoid the Portland frontcourt with the illness uncertainty and still go cheap at center, give Chandler a look as he goes against the Lakers.  Chandler made sure he was fresh for today’s game by getting tossed yesterday in the third quarter.  Before his ejection he only played 12 minutes, but in his previous four games he had three double-doubles all resulting in at least 24 fantasy points. ∗∗
