High Salary SG

DeMar DeRozan-Toronto Raptors (8,000): DeRozan has had a few down games lately, but he makes my list tonight based on what he did when the Raptors faced the Wizards last week.  In that game, DeRozan gashed the Wizards for 34 points, six rebounds, five assists, two blocks, and two steals to finish with a massive 56 fantasy points. He has failed to reach even 35 fantasy points in his four games since, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see him rise to the occasion again tonight as the Raptors look to knock of the Wizards again.  He’s high-risk, but it’s easy to see his upside in tonight’s matchup.

Klay Thompson-Golden State Warriors (7,800): The MVP is expected to suit up for the Warriors as Steph Curry continues to play through a shin injury, but recently its been Klay Thompson and Draymond Green who have kept the Warriors juggernaut rolling.  Thompson has at least 40 fantasy points in four straight games and poured in 36 points in 34 minutes against LA on Tuesday in the Warriors’ most recent contest.  Thompson has at least 26 points in each of his last four, and he’s a solid play again tonight at under 8K especially since he’ll be taking on the Blazers who allow the ninth-most fantasy points to opposing SG. ∗∗

Khris Middleton-Milwaukee Bucks (6,900): Middleton wasn’t slowed by a matchup with Jimmy Butler on Tuesday scoring 26 points to go with seven assists, four rebounds and a steal for a total of 45 fantasy points. He has at least 45 fantasy points in three of his last five games and at least 40 in five of his last nine.  He and the Bucks are facing the Mavs tonight who typically defend the perimeter well, but Middleton is on such a roll right now that he can be used in almost any matchup. He has scored at least 19 points in seven of his last nine and contributes solid assist and rebounding numbers as well.  He’s still undervalued and underpriced tonight making him a great play to get in your lineup.

Victor Oladipo-Orlando Magic (6,600): It looks like Oladipo is back in the starting lineup to stay, but getting a confirmation before tipoff tonight would be nice.  After coming off the bench for an extended period of time, Oladipo has started the last two games for the Magic in place of Elfrid Payton and put up 37.75 and 35.25 fantasy points in those two outings.  On Wednesday, he played a massive 41 minutes finishing with 20 points, five boards, and three assists. Whether he starts at the point again in place of Payton or alongside Payton, Oladipo is on the rise and well on his way to returning to the multi-category producer he was last season. If confirmed starting-∗∗ No confirmation of playing time-

Monta Ellis-Indiana Pacers (6,000): Ellis has put up back-to-back games with over 34 fantasy points and has at least 25 fantasy points in six of his last eight games.  He isn’t quite producing at the level he was in Dallas, but he does have double-digit scoring in eight straight and seems to be setting into a rhythm in the Indiana offense.  Tonight, he’s in a solid matchup against the Pelicans who allow the second-most fantasy points to opposing SG making him a good play to consider if you’re spending in the low 6K price range. ∗∗
