Team-By-Team Offensive Rebound Matrices

Similar to yesterday’s look at assisted shots I did something similar for offensive rebounded shots by team. Again, no real groundbreaking takeaways, though I was not expecting quite so many players to be among the top rebounders of their own shots. Of course, considering a player is on the floor for 100% of his own misses, he’s probably got a head start there. In any event, going in reverse alphabetical order this time, we’ll start with the example of Washington. Note that all totals are for offensive rebounds on missed field goals only.
To read the chart, across the top row, Brad Beal has rebounded nine of his own misses, DeJuan Blair has picked up 3, Drew Gooden 1 and so on. In addition to 9 of his own misses, Beal has also chased down two misses apiece from Marcin Gortat, Gary Neal and John Wall. Here are the rest of the teams:
