It’s a five-game Thursday night slate for DFS fantasy basketball tonight giving us some solid sections for today’s DraftKings daily picks.

After an injury-filled but action-packed Wednesday in the NBA where hack-a-Drummond got plenty of coverage, the Pistons return to the court tonight in New Orleans as part of a pretty good five-game schedule for tonight.  TNT has a solid Thursday night double-header and there are three other games with significant storylines as well.  With ten teams in action, there are a lot of different ways to assemble your DFS fantasy basketball team.  To see some of the stars and sleepers who I think can deliver tonight, check out my DraftKings Daily picks on the following slides.

We get an extra hour of prep tonight scene the first two games tip off at 8:00 PM ET. TNT starts their coverage with the Clippers and Cavaliers while at the same time the Pelicans host the Pistons.  At 9:00, the Grizz travel to the Mile High City to face the Nuggets in the central game of the night on the schedule.  In the two later games, the Kings return home after two games in LA to face the Hawks while the struggling Suns welcome in the not-ever-struggling Spurs.

With those ten teams taking the floor, there are a lot of different options to consider. I’ve put my favorites together in my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides. Each position has two slides assigned to it–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each slide contains at least two options with a few extras thrown in where possible.  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.

This month, I also have started to rank my picks using stars after each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but the short version is “more stars=more confidence.” On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence (although I am a few days behind in getting all the numbers updated–hopefully by tomorrow).  Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineups for tonight’s contests.
