Andrew Wiggins destroys hoop (Video)

Minnesota Timberwolves phenom rocked the hoop like Elvis Presley used to rock Las Vegas.

Andrew Wiggins might as well get some Minnesota Timberwolves blue suede shoes. The young phenom threw down one of the most powerful dunks of his career yet, thanks in part to the late Elvis Presley.

As Wiggins got out in transition, the Target Center began playing “Viva Las Vegas” by Presley. As one of the greatest songs in rock and roll history was piercing itself into the hearts of every great fan in attendance, Wiggins felt the power of rock and roll in him, as he rocked the rim with an earth-shattering dunk.

It seems as if during every single game, there’s a brand new highlight of Wiggins destroying the hoop with a powerful dunk. Wiggins clearly doesn’t have much time for the finesse dunks.

This dunk is easily one of the best dunks he has ever had mainly because of Presley’s hit song capturing the moment perfectly. Las Vegas might not be too close to Minneapolis, but Wiggins had the spirit of the city that never sleeps in him as he welcomed the Oklahoma City Thunder and everyone watching to his city with the big slam.

The Timberwolves might want to start playing some more songs by Presley more often. It clearly inspires Wiggins to do amazing things on the court.
