Karl Anthony-Towns flexes on the Oklahoma City Thunder (Video)

Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Karl Anthony flexed on the Oklahoma City Thunder after dunking on Serge Ibaka.

Karl Anthony-Towns was on a whole other planet against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night. The Minnesota Timberwolves’ rookie was making his presence felt in a tight contest and he was really feeling it and getting into the game every play.

Late in the game against the Thunder with the Timberwolves trailing, Anthony-Towns put down an emphatic slam right over the Thunder’s Serge Ibaka. The crowd immediately got out of their feet and roared in unison, while Anthony-Towns was so pumped up that he flexed his muscles right on the Thunder.

With a dunk like that right over Ibaka, which is no easy task, it’s hard to blame Anthony-Towns for getting so excited about the play. While he might be a rookie and some will frown upon it, he was out on the court having fun and helping energize his team.

It was a great showing by the Timberwolves against a great Thunder team and it really highlighted the future of basketball in Minnesota, as they prepare to take the next step in the future. If Anthony-Towns keeps throwing down dunks like this over top defenders, he’s going to be flexing all night.
