Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic made a three-quarter court trick shot backwards and wasn’t impressed with himself.

Nikola Jockic has some very high expectations for himself. The Denver Nuggets’ rookie has really impressed people with his play this season and he’s emerged as one of the best young centers in the NBA. Not only has his ability to play center been stellar, so has his trick-shot game.

When Jokic was in Toronto to play in the Rising Stars Challenge, he decided to try a three-quarter court backwards heave. Jokic let it go on a line drive and hit nothing but net. While everyone was impressed over the crazy trick shot, Jokic wasn’t exactly impressed with his efforts.

It clearly begs the question of what exactly will impress him? Making a shot backwards is impressive enough, but to go almost the full distance of the court is absolutely insane. Clearly, it doesn’t pass the Jokic test and with that type of mentality, he’s going to have a very successful career.

For a mortal man, a three-quarter court trick shot would be something that would be a life accomplishment and remembered forever. For Jokic, it’s just another day at the office in the NBA.
