The NBA took a full week off for the All Star break, but they’re back and looking to make up for lost time with a massive 14-game schedule on tap for this Friday, February 19th.  With just the Cavs and Clippers taking the night off, there are a ton of options to choose from as you build your DFS fantasy basketball team. To help you sort through 28 teams worth of players, check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides.

More from Denver Nuggets

The action starts at 7:00 PM ET like it does on most nights when FanDuel rosters will lock for the night.  Dallas visits Orlando and the Pistons take on the Wizards at 7:00 followed at 7:30 by the Nets and Knicks clashing in a battle for New York.  Most of the games get underway at 8:00 when the Heat-Hawks, 76ers-Pelicans, Raptors-Bulls, Hornets-Bucks, Pacers-Thunder, and Timberwolves-Grizzlies games get underway.  At 9:30 the Suns host the Rockets, and in the West Coast action the Kings play the Nuggets, the Blazers host the Warriors, the Lakers take on the Spurs, and the Celtics visit Utah to take on the Jazz.

With 140 of the 150 regular NBA starters taking the floor tonight, that are a ton of good options to consider in tonight’s games.  With the lack of recent history due to the All-Star break, things are a little unpredictable, but there are some great matchups that I think are too good to miss out on.  To make sure you know the players to own, check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides. You’ll find two slides per position–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each slide contains at least two selections with extras thrown in where possible (which is all over the place today).  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.

At the beginning of 2016, I  started to rank my picks using stars after each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for tonight’s competition.

In this post, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on our fantasy basketball hub.

If you have any questions about my picks for today or any of our Fansided fantasy coverage, you can leave them at the bottom of the page in the comments section.  For an even quicker response, you can find me throughout the day on Twitter @FansidedFantasy. Remember your entire roster locks at the tipoff of the first game (7:00 PM ET) as everyone who had Kawhi Leonard was reminded when the Spurs’ star was a late scratch last night and left us locked in with a big zero at one of our starting spots.

If you find my picks and analysis helpful and would like to check out my DFS fantasy basketball posts each morning, the easiest way to find the FanDuel daily picks is to drop a bookmark on our fantasy basketball hub or follow on Twitter where I’ll tweet out the links each day when my picks go live.

There’s so much to get to tonight, let’s dive right in to my FanDuel daily picks for this Friday.
