Eric Berry enters 2016 NFL Free Agency in his prime at 27 years old. Here are five NFL teams that should consider signing him to a contract this spring.

Eric Berry in his six years with the Kansas City Chiefs has firmly established himself as one of the preeminent safeties in the National Football League. Since going No. 5 overall to the Chiefs in the 2010 NFL Draft, Berry has made it to four Pro Bowls, earned two All-Pro selections, and was the NFL’s Comeback Player of the Year in 2015 after his courageous battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2014.

Berry is a high-character, high-performance free safety in the middle of his prime as an NFL defensive back. The 27-year-old free safety will hit free agency this spring after six stellar seasons with the Chiefs in the AFC West, being the face of the Kansas City secondary for the last half decade.

In six years, Berry has 10 career interceptions for 276 yards and three touchdowns. He’s started in 68 of the 70 NFL games he has played in, recording 353 career tackles at the free safety position. Berry is as force to be reckoned with in the middle of an NFL secondary and should command top dollar once he hits the free agency market this spring.

While Berry could potentially stay with the Chiefs for 2016 and beyond, here are the five most likely destinations for Berry to star in the NFL this upcoming season as he hits free agency.
