DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-March 8
High Value SG
Zach LaVine-Minnesota Timberwolves (5,800): LaVine has been logging heavy, heavy minutes for the T-Wolves and played a massive 45 minutes last night in Charlotte finishing with 30 fantasy points on 19 points, four boards, two assists, and two steals. LaVine has at least 30 fantasy points in each of his last six games and has scored 19 points or more in five of those six contests as well. He’s in a tough matchup tonight against the Spurs, but his workload makes him one of the safer plays under 6K since he should produce something in those extended minutes.∗∗∗
Evan Fournier-Orlando Magic (5,700): Fournier missed three games last week with a wrist injury, but he played on Friday and totaled 35 minutes last night against the Warriors finishing with 20 points, three assists, and two steals for 30.75 fantasy points. He was a great option before the injury going for 30 fantasy points on a regular basis as a large part of the Orlando rotation. Look for him to continue that role tonight as he plays against the Lakers in a great matchup.∗∗∗∗
Gary Harris-Denver Nuggets (5,000): Harris has played at least 40 minutes in four of his last five games and has scored 15 points or more in six straight contests as he helps pick up the offensive slack left by the injury to Danilo Gallinari. Harris doesn’t contribute great non-scoring stats most nights, but his extended playing time does make him a solid play with at least 24 fantasy points in four of his last six contests.∗∗∗
Bojan Bogdanovic-Brooklyn Nets (4,500): The other value SG that I like tonight is Bogdanovic who continues to get plenty of playing time for the Nets since they bought out Joe Johnson. Bogdan only had 11.25 fantasy points against the T-Wolves on Saturday, but he had at least 22 fantasy points in four of his previous five games and had scored at least 17 points in each of those four contests. He is one of the few solid scoring options in the Brooklyn rotation, and he should be able to get his shots off against the Raptors who continue to await DeMarre Carroll’s return as a defensive stopper. ∗∗
Garrett Temple-Washington Wizards (3,200): Brad Beal is injured… again… and will miss tonight’s game in Portland. Temple should step back into the starting role where he has had mixed results during his time in and out of the lineup this season. He had 11 points in 26 minutes against the Pacers in the game Beal was injured for 21 fantasy points. It doesn’t look like Beal will be out long-term, but Temple makes a good gamble at SG for as long as Beal is leaving him all the minutes at the position. As long as Beal is out-∗∗∗∗
