Fantasy Basketball: DFS Advice For March 8th
By Roy Mullen
DFS advice for March 8th
If Phil Collins can feel it in the air tonight, so can you! We did good last night, won a little bit of money. Tonight will be even better. 6 games on the NBA schedule, a couple of teams played last night so it’ll be rest time. It doesn’t get any easier than this. FanDuel is about to get got..
The 2 point guards I like tonight are Emmanuel Mudiay and Damian Lillard. Mudiay is at home vs the Knicks. His price is only $6,000 and his last 10 games he’s averaged 30+ minutes. His last 3 games he’s averaged at least 37 fantasy points. Lillard is at home vs Washington. $9,200 is steep for a non superstar but he’s got John Wall covering him and I love that match up for both guys. Expect big things from these 2 point guards.
I’m going kind of cheap with my shooting guards tonight. My first pick is Evan Fournier on the road vs the Lakers. His price is $5,300 and either Kobe or Jordan Clarkson will be covering him. I like his chances. My other pick is Gary Harris because he’s got a great match up. He’s at home. He’s got 40+ minutes his last 5 games which he’s averaged 25+ fantasy points. Great cheap productive option.
Melo is back in Denver. I love revenge games. Any time a star takes on a former team it’s good to get in on. Carmelo Anthony is going to light Denver up. My next SF is going to be Kyle Anderson. He’s super cheap at $3,600 and could see an expanded role because San Antonio played last night. He’s my sleeper pick tonight.
My 2 power forwards are Paul Millsap of Atlanta and Kenneth Faried in Denver. I feel like Milsap is the best PF on the schedule tonight. He’s also reasonable priced at $8,000. He’s got at least 3 50+ fantasy point games this year so he can get it done. Faried exploded for 25 points and 20 rebounds vs Dallas on Sunday. The Knicks don’t do much well so he could easily have another big game.
Last but not least is my center. Marcin Gortat is all over the road like Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder driving to Canada however he’ll be effective tonight vs Plumlee and Portland. His price is $7,000 and that’s very reasonable. He’ll get a double double and you and I are getting paid tonight if you follow my advice.
