Ricky Rubio came through for the Timberwolves on Friday when they needed him most, dropping in this game-winner

The Minnesota Timberwolves took on the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night in what was one of the best games on the slate. But in the end there had to be a winner, and Ricky Rubio made sure that his team would be coming out on that end of things.

With time winding down in regulation and the game all tied up at 96, Andrew Wiggins drove through the lane to the basket, but instead of taking the shot, he kicked it out to a wide open Rubio beyond the three-point line.

And well … this happened.

Cold-blooded!

By all accounts, this Timberwolves team is just flat-out fun to watch, especially when they’re clicking on all cylinders. Friday night, they just had everything going their way, right up to the very end with this shot.

As for the Thunder, though, they really did not need this loss. This was not the ideal thing to take place for them, as they now need to shake off another heartbreaking loss, something that’s sort of becoming a theme with this team.
