On the eve of Selection Sunday, college basketball will get plenty of attention throughout the day, but don’t overlook the NBA that also has an over-stuffed schedule today with nine games on tap for tonight. You ca get in on the action tonight by building your DFS fantasy basketball team for one of the many FanDuel competitions. To help you find the best options, I’ve put together my FanDuel daily picks for this Saturday on the following slides highlighting who I think is in a place to help you and why I think they’ll step up.

More from Denver Nuggets

The first games of the night get started at 7:00 PM ET which is when rosters for the day will lock in place.  Hopefully we have a good idea at that point who’s in and who’s out since FanDuel still doesn’t support late-swapping.  The first wave of games starting at 7:00 includes the Rockets traveling to Charlotte in a game that should be one of the most high-scoring of the night, the Heat finish a tough back-to-back by heading to Toronto, and the 76ers welcome the Pistons.  At 7:30, the Hawks take on the under-manned but still winning Grizzlies while the Pelicans visit Milwaukee.  In the ABC game of the night, the Spurs welcome in Oklahoma City at 8:30 in a possible playoff series preview followed at 9:30 by a game between two teams who are currently outside the playoffs but trying to battle their way in to a playoff spot as the Nuggets host the Wizards. The night wraps up with a pair of games from the West Coast as the Magic head to Portland and the Warriors welcome in the Suns.

With so many teams in action, there are a ton of great options to pick from for you fantasy lineup. To see my favorite players and how I’m building my personal lineups, check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides. My goal is to give you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team tonight. In order to help you find the position and price-point that you need, you’ll find two slides per position in this post–one with high-salary options and one with high-value options. Each slide contains at least two options with extras thrown in where possible.  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.

At the beginning of 2016, I  started to rank my picks using stars after each selection to show the strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for tonight’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to see my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

In this post, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on our fantasy basketball hub.

If you have any questions about my picks for today or any of our FanSided fantasy coverage, you can leave them at the bottom of the page in the comments section.  For an even quicker response, you can find me throughout the day on Twitter @FansidedFantasy. As we get to this point in the season, there are a number of fantasy-impacting injuries and rest situations to keep an eye on heading into tonight’s games. I’ll keep you up to date on Twitter with updates throughout the day and definitely be online in the final hour before rosters lock.
