Karl-Anthony Towns puts Mirza Teletovic on a poster (Video)

Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Karl-Anthony Towns put Phoenix Suns forward Mirza Teletovic on a poster with an explosive slam.

The NBA season is almost over and after one of the most talented rookie classes in history, Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Karl-Anthony Towns is looking to finish strong and wrap up the NBA Rookie of the Year Award. With the way the Phoenix Suns played defense in the first half on Monday night, Towns went a long way toward helping his cause.

His biggest came play courtesy of a poster. After Towns exposed bad defense by Suns forward Jon Leuer, he went right at forward Mirza Teletovic, who was the lone Suns defender in the interior. Towns went right over him and put down one of the most vicious slams of his young career yet.

It’s hard to blame Teletovic for being put in a bad spot, as the Suns two centers, Alex Len and Tyson Chandler, were both on the bench with foul trouble. That meant the interior was going to be open and that’s just one of the many spots on the floor where he feasts.

There might be a nice shiny trophy in Towns’ future soon.
